Online resources and remote access

Online databases provide access to resources from a wide range of scientific disciplines. A summary of resources that are accessible to students and university staff via remote access (VPN) can be found on the Electronic Information Resources Portal. Examples of online databases are:

  • BREPOLiS – a collection of databases from the field of linguistics, philosophy and religion.
  • eHRAF World Cultures – a database containing documents and materials covering all aspects of cultural and social life.
  • CEEOL – an online archive accessing scientific journals and other resources from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
  • PressReader – a database providing access to the content of selected newspapers and popular magazines from around the world.

We digitize books from the library's collection so that they can be viewed from anywhere thanks to the E-presence service. If the required title is not included in the E-presence, it can be suggested for scanning.
