Online resources and remote access
Online databases provide access to resources from a wide range of scientific disciplines. A summary of resources that are accessible to students and university staff via remote access (VPN) can be found on the Electronic Information Resources Portal. Examples of online databases are:
- BREPOLiS – a collection of databases from the field of linguistics, philosophy and religion.
- eHRAF World Cultures – a database containing documents and materials covering all aspects of cultural and social life.
- CEEOL – an online archive accessing scientific journals and other resources from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
- PressReader – a database providing access to the content of selected newspapers and popular magazines from around the world.

Students of the Faculty of Arts finding themselves in a difficult life situation can apply for a loan of available equipment for different lengths of time, up to one semester.

E-loans
We digitize books from the library's collection so that they can be viewed from anywhere thanks to the E-presence service. If the required title is not included in the E-presence, it can be suggested for scanning.
