The Central Library is expanding its range of Open Science services

4 Aug 2021

To many researchers and scientists, open publishing may still seem like a vague and unexplored territory. The Central Library, which is expanding its range of Open Science services in a new section on the website, can help you get more familiar with this area.

If you want to use the Open Access option as part of your research, we can help you by choosing a suitable journal that offers this option or find a suitable repository for your publication. You can find more information about the possibilities of open publishing on the Open Science section of our website, or you can arrange a consultation with us.

We are also now offering assistance with APC fees, i.e., fees associated with publishing, which are usually paid by the author. Authors of Masaryk University can use discounts on APC fees at selected publishers.

We also provide support in the field of Open Data, especially assistance with using data management plan tools and selecting a suitable data repository.

The English version of the Open Science web section will be available this September. In the meantime, you can contact us with questions using the contact form.
