Open publishing without fees, now also with Elsevier
A new agreement with Elsevier allows authors from MU to publish a limited number of articles in open access mode free of charge.
Writing and publishing academic papers and texts can be a daunting task. A Resources Search service can help authors find the right sources. The service, which was previously intended primarily for the Horizon 2020 applicants, can now be used by all staff members of the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University. Whether it is for a research project or lectures, the library offers staff members assistance by finding and gathering suitable information sources.
The output of this service is a search, i.e., a bibliographic list of relevant publications on a specific topic. Staff members can request a search via the form.
Resources Search Service Search request form
In the form, it is necessary to specify the topic of the search, keywords, the required language of the documents, and the searched sources. After filling out the form, we will reply to you by the next working day and suggest the nearest possible date for processing the search. It is possible to agree on the date of the initial consultation to specify the requirement.
We will prepare the search within ten working days. If the search's processing exceeds the standard time of 10 hours, further work above the set limit is charged at CZK 200 / hour. The complete price list can be viewed here.
If you are interested in a search but you are not a staff member, you can contact us using the contact form.
