Kettle and cutlery: make use of library kitchenettes
Have you brought your own food and need to reheat it, or do you want to take a break with a hot drink? The library offers you two self-service kitchenettes for just these purposes.
For the spring semester, the library has prepared a number of online workshops and lessons focused on information search, information evaluation, writing professional texts or citations. We also offer lessons focused on working with tools such as Word and Excel or lessons from Career Center on writing a resume or preparing for an interview.
For doctoral students, we offer lessons focused on project management, scientific research, or open access in scientific publishing. The full list of online workshops and lessons can be found in the events calendar.
We offer lessons and workshops free of charge. Just like the last year, the workshops will take place online in the MS Teams. Registration for the lessons is required in order to obtain a link to join in. The workshops and lessons are held in Czech.
As the new spring semester begins and everyone returns to virtual classrooms, students of selected fields can use resources directly selected for the given field. The list of resources, which was created within the professional practice of students in cooperation with individual departments, currently includes eight disciplines. We are gradually expanding our offer of subject guides. VPN access is also required to access certain online resources.
