ACCESS PROLONGED | The National digital library

Updated February 11: Access to the National digital library was prolonged until June 30.

For the last few months, based on the agreement with the association of Czech booksellers and publishers (Svaz českých knihkupců a nakladatelů), we were able to access a lot of digitized documents in the National digital library. This will no longer be possible after February 12. 

From February 13, National digital library will offer remote access only to works in the public domain and so-called works no longer available on the book market. Those are books published before the year 2000, which can no longer be obtained anywhere, not even in the form of an e-book or as a newer issue. For journals, the limit is the year 2010. All concerned titles must be included on the official List of works unavailable on the market (Seznam děl nedostupných na trhu, in Czech only).

After February 12, you can still log in to the National digital library using the option Přihlásit knihovním účtem/eduID and choosing the institution Masarykova univerzita.

E-loans service is not affected in any way.
