The increasing pressure to publish leads to violations of certain ethical rules in the scientific world. They are not only committed by authors themselves, but also by journals. In this talk, colleagues from the RMU Centre for Scientometric Support will introduce the basics of good practice and ethics in publishing. They will focus on predatory journals and show how to spot them. They will also discuss responsible approaches to evaluating science and scientists and show how to interpret some metrics correctly.

Who is the event for?
The lesson is primarily intended for PhD students of the Faculty of Arts MU.
The lesson will be held in a hybrid way. We will send a link to connect to all registered participants.
