Tips for the exam period: The library offers resources and consultation

The exam period is coming, and even though the buildings are closed, we are here for you.

Borrowing and returning books

The pick-up place is currently functioning, and you can borrow books after previous order via the catalogue. Choose the title you need and create the order – we will prepare the books – and you pick them up. To order a book, you have to be registered in the library. You can register online. 

You can return books into the Book Drop accessible from Arne Nováka street. The books will be checked out from your account the next workday. 

If you have any questions about loans, registration or fees:

Online resources and support

You can also use online resources available from anywhere: 

• E-loans app offers access to scanned books from MU libraries; you can suggest titles to be scanned.
• Portal of electronic information resources is a gateway to all the primary academic resources. Most of them are searchable via discovery.muni.cz service.
• National digital library – COVID offers limited access to digitized titles from the National library and the Moravian library; log in with the option "Přihlásit knihovním účtem/eduID" > Masarykova univerzita.
