What remains at the Faculty of Arts doesn't have to be lost

7 Apr 2026

Items found anywhere in the Arna Nováka campus are gathered and recorded at the Information desk in the library lobby. A library staff member is always available there during opening hours. You can also call 549 49 6303 or send us an email.

What should I do if I lose something?

Please ask at the Information desk or check the list of lost and found items. It would be helpful if you could tell us when and where you think you left the item. If we don't currently have the item you're looking for, we'll put you on our list and will contact you if found later.

What should I do if I find something?

Please hand over the item you found to the nearest library staff member. We would also appreciate it if you could let us know where you found it.

The most common items found are headphones and chargers. Occasionally, we come across forgotten books, and after it rains, we traditionally see more umbrellas. But we’ve also stumbled upon some more unusual finds: a statue of a goddess, a bag containing a full set of medical scrubs, or prepared lunch boxes.

We keep unclaimed items for at least one additional semester. In the case of perishable food, we discard it and keep only the container.

Thank you for your cooperation, and may nothing remain lost forever!
