Changes to library opening hours
From February 16, 2026, the main library building will be permanently closed on Saturdays. The Reading Room with kitchenette and Group Study Rooms will remain available throughout the weekend (9 AM to 5 PM).

Where to go on Saturdays
The Reading Room will be open. The café counter will not be in operation, but a kitchennette with equipment will remain available.
Group Study Rooms remain available and can be reserved, for Facutly of Arts students only.
You can also use the services of other MU libraries and study rooms.

You can return books at any time using one of the Book Drops located at the entrance to the premises or at the gatehouse. Our online resources are available 24/7.
