1. Off-Site Borrowing

Off-Site Borrowing: Books may be taken outside FACL premises only by the students, teachers, academic researchers and other employees of the Faculty of Arts. Overdue Book Fines are set at 5 Kč per volume per day, beginning with the expiration of the loan period. In the event that all fines due to the FACL are not paid, additional borrowing is blocked. Overdue notices are not sent. Each patron is alone responsible for returning books on time. Completing studies and receiving a diploma requires a confirmation from the FACL that all books borrowed have been returned and all overdue fines paid.
 
 

2. On-Site Borrowing

On-Site Borrowing: Books may be used in the FACL Reading Room (400 places) and is open to all persons without restriction.
 
 

3. Interlibrary Services

Interlibrary Services: These services, for both Czech and foreign academic libraries, are available only to registered patrons of the FACL.
 
 

4. Photocopying Services

Photocopying Services: A self-service photocopying machine is available in the FACL Reading Room and is reserved for the copying of articles from journals and books.
