Online resources for scholarly work
During your study and scholarly work, you can make use of a wealth of online scholarly resources: journal articles, e-books and more. There are resources freely available or those purchased by the university that you can access from anywhere thanks to VPN.
Recommended catalogues and search engines

The MU Portal offers an overview of all scholarly resources purchased by the university. You can search most of them at once using the discovery.muni service.

Search a large part of Czech libraries in the common catalogue at once. In addition to books, you will also find Czech articles, laws or standards.

Find and read final theses from Czech universities. Someone else’s Master’s thesis can help you with your own one; you can be for instance inspired by the sources used. See also the reports and evaluation, if available.

A search engine that, unlike regular Google, finds scholarly literature. When you search for and check "Masaryk University" in the Settings – Library Links menu, it will also search for resources from the MU Portal.
